ACNE dress (via my-wardrobe), ZARA heels
This is the outfit I wore to my Sixth Form Ball on Saturday evening held at a hotel in Bristol. I bought the dress a few months ago and have been desperate to wear it - I didn't want to go for an extravagant dress as I felt that buying a slightly pricier classic dress that I can keep for ever is much more justifiable. I couldn't decide between black or metallic-silver accessories but went with the black last minute because it felt much more together. I have a Leaver's Dinner at the end of June at my school so i'll probably wear the silver then!
As some of you may not know, I am currently in Upper Sixth at Sixth Form/School and I only have another month or so left of being a 'school-child'. I have been at my school for seven years and although i've loved it, I cannot wait to move on and venture into the next stage of my life. Spending three years at University will probably fly by and before I know it i'll be applying for internships and jobs. I'm so excited for the future and feel more than ready to finish school, although i'm sure i'll miss the security of it when I do leave. I have three hugely important exams in June so I feel that blogging will have to sit quietly on the sideline for a few months while I buckle down and work for the grades that will essentially secure my place at University. When summer is over i'll be back with much more focus and drive considering i'm studying fashion. Besides, i'm more than certain that my blog is going to be bursting with ideas and projects come September/October but for now all focus will be on three subjects: History, Psychology and Art.
